Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz. This RSC version is a faithful adaptation of the film. A technically complex production, it recreates the dialogue and structure of the MGM classic nearly scene for scene, though it is adapted for live stage performance.

Dynamic Duo, Mike McColl as The Captain and Ashley Gardner as Maria:
Are you a Grey’s Anatomy Fan? How about The Lincoln Lawyer, or Yellowstone? Many recognized professional actor Mike McColl as he delivered Captain Von Trapp onstage in Center Stage Alliance’s production of The Sound of Music.
Ashley Gardner lives in Statesville and heard a place called Center Stage Alliance would be performing a “little show” called The Sound of Music. She walked in for auditions, introduced herself, and proceeded to sing her heart out. This woman was made to play Maria!
